This week we learned about languages.
It was interesting to discover that there are so many endangered languages, many of which are in New York.
Also, we watched a great, informative and entertaining video about the root of English, and I learned that it is a combination of anglo saxon german, and french latin.

    Loved that video. Definitely one of the funniest, yet most educational lectures I've ever seen. He was a boss!

    That really was an amazing video.

    It's really interesting to learn that there are so many languages that are close to dying out in just one city, I wonder how many haven't yet been discovered.

    I thought it was very interesting to learn about the origins of English as a language. I always thought for some reason that English had evolved on its own, but now it makes sense that English has so much in common with other European languages.
