This week we have been working more on our inquiry project, and have been getting closer to finishing it. I have been struggling to find a poem that would help me answer my essential question, but I am thinking of just finding a poem about love, because that would talk about dependency. I am in the progress of finding sources to answer my essential question, and soon will be able to write a thesis statement.

I think that you've set up a really difficult challenge for yourself, being that finding poetry about the abuse and need for important resources is a very specific topic. I do think that your idea about love will be sufficient enough to be able to manipulate to fit your essential question.

ReplyDeleteIf it helps any, it seems a good way to find poems is to look for poems the author of your book (the one that inspired your question the most) admired. For my group we used the favorite poem of our author (Ayn Rand) and it ended up being very apt. Good luck, hope this helped!
